If You Give Adobe Illustrator a Pantone, it’s going to print that color wrong

When it prints the color wrong, the two of you will no longer get along.

When you go to fix the file, it’ll just print wrong again

No matter how hard you try or what your teacher recommends.

If you go and change the swatch, things will start looking okay;

You’ll check the colors in the printer, but today is not your day.

If you keep trying new things to fix this small mistake

You’ll end up changing shapes and lines and strokes ‘til you have the worst headache.

But you know the headache just won’t stop until you fix what’s troubling you;

You’ll have to make that stupid Pantone do what you want it to do.

So you’ll try and try again, until you cannot anymore,

And when it doesn’t come out right, you’ll want to walk right out the door.

But you know it must be done, so you’ll stick around and try

And you’ll probably be fixing Pantones until the minute that you die.
